One thing immigrants and refugees have in common is a heightened desire for community. In moving from one country to another, community life is depleted, often changes and belonging becomes elusive. This can be emotionally draining, and you may become isolated in the process. In the workplace, a lack of community or a sense of not belonging can be even more pronounced. Accentuate’s vision is to be a global community of immigrants and refugees who are supported and support each other to thrive in the workplace.

Immigrants and refugees have the most compelling and inspirational stories! Your journey is filled with many twists and turns; and there are months, even years of uncertainty. The degree of vulnerability you feel and experience put you at risk for every kind of abuse. Your hopes and dreams often need to be resuscitated so you can keep pressing forward. BUT it is in pressing forward you find strength and faith you didn’t know you have. You find and redefine yourself many times over to survive and thrive. In so doing, you overcome the many challenges that immigrants and refugees face. Telling your story will give you courage to keep persevering and inspire others to overcome the challenges they are facing. We would love to hear and share your story.

Whether you are an early career employee, a middle manager, an emerging leader or starting over, there is a development path for you. Assessments from Hogan Assessments, along with coaching, will provide deeper insight into your strengths, areas that are hampering your growth and how you can take positive steps towards advancing your career.

    Refugees are persons who flee or are outside their country of origin for reasons of feared persecution, conflict, generalized violence, or other circumstances that have seriously disturbed public order and, as a result, require international protection.

Career Assessments & 1:1 Coaching

  • Become a member of Accentuate

  • Schedule a free intake session. A conversation to learn more about each other and determine the next best steps for you. A successful intake session may lead to registering and enrolling for one of the career development coaching programs.

  • Rates range from $750 to $1650 for 3 to 6 months of coaching.

  • You must be an immigrant or refugee and an Accentuate Member for 1:1 coaching.

    An immigrant is a person who left the country of their birth and currently resides in another country for the purpose of education, work or as a permanent residence or naturalized citizen.

    Refugees are persons who flee or are outside their country of origin for reasons of feared persecution, conflict, generalized violence, or other circumstances that have seriously disturbed public order and, as a result, require international protection
